Beam installation expert John Van was recognized for three decades of service, excellence and dedication.

Our factory trained team of installers have over 100 years of experience between them. Their level of skill and workmanship are unsurpassed in the industry.

When John started working at Beam Canada in September 1980, built-in vacuums were a relatively new concept to the average homeowner. Within a few years, Canadians were lining up at home shows to be the first in their neighbourhood to experience the convenience and ease of a central vacuum system installed in their home.

Working on a team of installation experts at the Beam factory in Oakville, Ont., John’s quality workmanship was instrumental in the growth of both central vacuums as a product and the Beam brand throughout Southern Ontario. Considered to be one of the best in the business by his peers, John has trained more than twenty new dealers and installers in their craft.

Since joining Halton Vacuum Depot, John has installed roughly 10,000 central vacuums and completed more than 15,000 service calls. His attention to detail, expert workmanship and superior customer service skills have helped Halton Vacuum Depot win BEST VACUUM STORE in the Oakville area every year since the award inception in 1999.

This week, John was recognized of r his years of service and presented the 30 year service award by Scott Ride, President of Electrolux Home Care Products Canada, parent company of Beam Of Canada.
